Round Vs Square Christmas 5D Diamond Paintings
The choice to work with either square or round diamonds is down to your personal preference. What’s the difference between the two?
Round diamonds are sometimes preferred by beginners because don't have any edges that need to line up on the canvas, making them easier and quicker to pick up and stick down. A canvas covered in round diamonds is also a bit more forgiving if you have accidentally stuck one slightly off-center, because there will already be very tiny gaps in between each diamond. Square Diamonds, however, require more time and precision when lining up all the square edges, so as to avoid any awkward gaps in the painting. The big advantage is square diamonds create a 'fuller' and more detailed image because the squares all fit perfectly next to one another. There will be no gaps of color across the picture.
